Gajjar halwa(Carrot dessert)




Ingredients:
2 cups shredded carrot
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp Cashews for garnish

Method:
1. Fry the carrots with the butter until the carrots wilt and reduce in volume
2. Add milk and let it boil until the milk completely evaporates
3. Next add sugar and let it cook for another 5 minutes
Turn off the heat and garnish with cashews

Serve either warm or chilled.
